Really Awesome Monk Skill Idea!

[:1]I have been thinking of new Monk skills after I saw the Big Bell idea. I am okay with said skill, however the casting animation seems like it might get just a little monotonous when recast over and over. Anyway, I liked the creative flair behind the skill and it immediately inspired me to think of this (in my opinion) very creative idea for a skill:

Thunderous Applause

or

Divine Ovation

or

Hands of Zora

This skill summons the divine Hands of Zora, a chief deity among the Monks' faith, which appear at either side of the Monk and travel upward in a 'blinking lights' fashion, both palms meeting at the top above the Monk's head, causing a loud Clap!; basic skill does area of effect damage and knockback.

What I mean when I say 'blinking lights fashion' is that you never actually see the hands move in a fluid animation, rather, they appear and then disappear and then reappear just above where they last were and so on, until they reach the thunderous 'clap' above the Monk's head.

I think Jay Wilson said they want skills to upgrade in stats and have the graphics also convey that power-up (which makes me wonder how that will integrate into the whole skill rune equation, i.e. improved fire bolt animation for upgraded rune-less fire Hydra as well as improved animation for upgraded and skill-runed lightning Hydra and cold Hydra?), so the Hands will start out with minimal adornments on each wrist and have basic graphics; also, it will clap just once at the top. Higher ranks will see more rune magicks appear around the Monk when cast, as well as more bangles and godly gear on the Hands; the clap becomes an ovation at top levels, causing damage and knockback every single clap!

Skill rune ideas for this skill are as follows:

-clap sends fire balls bouncing out of the palms (a la Volcano from Druid D2)

-each clap actually draws enemies in, instead of doing knockback

-some types of debuff/s

-hands are re-angled to face outward in front of the Monk, with finger tips pointing in the the direction he's facing, vastly different graphics (think giant); the enemies in or around the area where the clap happens receive major damage
