monk outfit question/conjecture

In The Black Road, a character by the name Taramis Volken a demon hunter/ ex-Vizjerei priest wears an orange robe with silver designs on it. the exact description:

before that they were described as modest, second hand looking but sufficient.

hmmm. sounds a lot like the monk's robes, maybe?

does this mean the monk will have Vizjerei/protection spells/skills at his disposal?

maybe auras? Bad comparison?

Seems possible to me. I believe the Monk is touted a holy warrior type character, am I correct? Seems like some kind of Vizjerei influence could be seen here. But I don't know. I haven't read enough of the Monk's backstory to know if anything like that has been written into the lore. As I understood it, the Monk was not associated with the Vizjerei, but I could def be wrong.

Also, I can't remember, has the skilltree been fleshed out for the Monk already? Namely, are they going to have room for this type of skill on the tree? Or, perhaps, they will just kind of pigeon-hole some magic protection skills into the existing structure.

Boy, it's a good thing conjecture is actually worded into the post title. Gives me a lot of license to ramble....

-d|||i hope he gets more skills.|||I suspect he will get more skills, but I was wondering whether the 3 (?) tiers/branches had been set. i.e. will the Monk have a tree that is specifically pretective skills a la the d2 pally's aura trees? Or will the protective skills be inserted into the tree that is already set up, with different types of protective skills falling into their respective places on the tree? Am I expressing myself clearly?

Personally, I think you're reading too deep into it. It's a great leap based purely on two people wearing clothes of the same color. Moreover, the Monk wears neither robes (at least I wouldn't consider what he's wearing as a robe) nor silver details. The lore section on the official website specifically states that the Monk looks like a beggar (i.e. no silver) and wears wooden beads.|||I could see silver meaning gray or white but I don't see many designs on the monk in gray or white.|||sweet picture looks cool what could go wrong here
