Shouldn't Exploding Palm NOT work on Skellies? - Page 2

if i remember correctly Leech didnt work off skellies in D2, i imagine there will be some similar restrictions in D3, as for exploding palm... i dont know, it causes bleeding damage which is explosively fatal. game balancing may see bleeding as ineffective against skellies and stop the palm from working. i'm not really big on realism for fantasy settings so im inclined to let it go.

Yeah but there's two different kinds of realism here. There's realism suspended because we have magic and demons, etc. But it should still be coherent and consistent.|||Realism in games can be used where it is sensible. I wouldn't mind if the skeletons exploded in a white cloud of pulverized bone. If they have time to make those animations, great. If not, I can live with it.|||I don't think we are talking about realism here, we are talking about what makes sense within the game, if the skill is described as "causing organ bleed and internal explosion" (or something) then it makes sense its less effective against undead/skeleton type enemies, and it allows for better gameplay if skill effectiveness varies depending on monster types its used against.|||1. Does it looks cool?

end of discussion : )|||Quote:

Agreed. We should be switching it up with gameplay, anyway.
