Do you think they'll put in finishers for the monks attacks?

The similarities between the assassin and the monk are pretty obvious, and I was wondering if you think that the monk should have a set of finisher-esque skills to go along with his regular combo attacks.

For instance, say you hit someone with the first two stages of exploding palm, then decide to use radiant visage. Maybe that could add a bleed effect to what radiant visage already does.

Or do you think that the combo moves already act as their own finished(which I could also see).|||I'm not sure if finishing moves would stand out with all the classes poping bodies on critical hits. It certainly fits in with the brawler thing though.|||The moves are their own finishers. Its not like D2 Assassins charge up style, every move hits something with a skill, not just hit to charge up and release.|||Hit twice for a charge up on exploding palm, strike air for two hits on another, release the third charge of the new move.

Are you saying that we'll have to take two empty swings to effectively mix-and-match the combo skills? That's not how I read things at all. I was under the impression that we could switch combo skills at any time and get the respective bonuses for whatever level (1,2, or 3) we were on at the time. Thus, 7SS once, 7SS again, and then switch to Exploding Palm for the 3rd tier bleed DoT and subsequent awsesomeness. This would be more seamless, in my mind.

Well SSS isn't a combo attack for starters. And I hadn't heard you could charge one, release 2nd and then third of another, or vice versa, but i would hope so tbh.|||You can mix the ones that are combo skills. SSS isn't a combo skill but some sites don't seem to get this.

Skill A has Stage 1, 2, 3 now known as A1, A2, A3

Skill B has Stage 1, 2, 3 now known as B1, B2, B3

Skill C has Stage 1, 2, 3 now known as C1, C2, C3

Skill D has Stage 1, 2, 3 now known as D1, D2, D3

So you could open with A1, you then move to stage 2.

You don't have to do A2, you could do B2, C2, or D2, etc. Now you go into stage 3.

You can use any stage 3 of any combo skill that you have, same as stage 2.

Now if you want to say use A1 and then C1 you have to wait long enough for the chain to reset. Currently they have this at 0.6 seconds.

Now what you can't do is something like. A1 to C2 to B2. No way to use two stage 2s or 3s in a row.|||They better make sure the combo system puts out good dmg/results. Kind of tired of seeing stereotypical martial artist classes relegated to retarded combo systems that do nothing but limit sequencing of skills. Not saying that this is the case here as it's way too early... cough cough guild wars sin.|||i stand corrected on SSS not being a combo skill.|||It would be neat if you could mix up whatever and get different results.

That would effectively make the monk the Eddie Gordo of the Diablo series.
