Kicks?

[:1]Anyone notice how most of if not all of the monk abilities in the videos seem to be devoid of any kinds of kicks? I would think that to have a well rounded martial artist they would have some kind of cool kicking ability, but all the monk seems to have is an arsenal of magical punches. i mean if they're going to have a 7 sided strike then i don't think a corkscrew kick or roundhouse would be completely out of the question? anyone agree with me here!?|||Sure, everyone would agree. However in a fastpaced H&S game, one is often not concerned at first about how he strikes the opponent. Just as long as it goes down. I think they'll add animations along with all the other polishing WHEN they did everything else hat was needed before the release.|||Kicks in Diablo II add a lot of complexity to the game mechanics. For example, socketing a sword with a ruby would add fire damage to kicks, which wasn't clearly explained.

If they put kicks in Diablo 3, then it needs to be very clear how the damage is calculated and what effects (if any) your weapon will have on your kicks.|||I think he was just talking about the animations...In d2, the ''kick'' was a type of attack.

Im preety sure they will do some kicks....lets say, they roll with certain skills or at some distance.

Why not also creating some projection skills?..like grabbing a monster Judo style and hurling it on other monsters, then stunning them?

If the monk is a martial artist, he should be able to do all well rounded set of martial techniques|||http://d3db.com/pc/monk

There seems to be atleast one kick:

Lashing Tail Kick

The Monk unleashes a deadly roundhouse kick, causing knockback and dealing X-X physical damage.

There is pretty good chance that some other skills might do some kicks as well with rune effects.
