Class before the Monk

This is a poll to all those who've decided on playing the monk first.

What was your main class that you played into d2lod and how does it influence your decision on choosing the monk|||My main class was a Druid, based on elemental skills, I always loved melee warriors that can use magic at the same time...

I doubt my old class has any influence, to be fair I even hated the assassin back in D2. The monk has an special air around him, he's simply awesome by himself.|||Sin. She's my fav class, and I know the Monk will be a new fav.
