The Monk Seems Un-Diabloish

I don't know about you guys, but the monk just doesnt seem diablo-like. When you go to the character screen on the diablo website, he just seems out of place. I like the concept of him, but he just doesn't fit in. What do you think? Does he fit in with the other diablo characters?|||Yes, he fits.|||Well, that dragonball-esk fight in the intro trailer seemed a bit out of place, but overall the monk fits.|||I think he does fit, no problem!|||I think he fits. I am actually looking forward to the Monk. I hate the fact that they have not announced the Paladin... which is rather my main player but I guess the Monk will do.|||Definitely fits well.|||Quote:

Please explain to me what is considered to be "Diabloish".|||Atrav, im just saying when you look at the character selection screen on the d3 homepage the monk just looks out of place. When you look back at all the other characters from the past they had this idk how else to say it but this diablo-like look. The monk just doesn't have that look to me. He seems out of place, like he should be in a different game. Its kind of like throwing an Orc into the game, it just doesn't fit. For example, the assassin and the druid that they added to the d2 expansion fit perfectly into the game, they had the same look as the other characters and they all just blended. The monk just doesn't blend. Thats my opinion, but evidently no one else shares that opinion. lol|||i can agree with pode in one aspect, that the monk's clothing doesn't fit into the diablo universe that well. i just think they should let go of try to make him dress like a buddist monk or something of that sort. but i think his phyical appearance is good and well fitted to diablo and his skills are good too.

i ve said it before, i think the female wizard is most out of place in diablo, that is her appearance not her skills.

i think the game designers should quit trying to make diablo too diverse and multiethnic. it just defeats the games goal of being grity and dark. diversity should be let to work places and class rooms not a game that was originally set out to have a specific mood, and the specific culture and look is what is needed, anything else is force and out of place.|||The monk is diabloish as possible.

He was one of the original 4 charecters, well, he was the add on, the 4th to compliment the original 3. Well, technically there were 6 charecters originally, but that is another story
