Monk epic look at end game...how?

I dont want to see the monk classes in D3 get bigger and bigger shoulder armor and heavy armor. But as Basihok said it must still look like upgrades in the end game. How to do this in cloth gear?

One way for the monk to achive a epic look without bigger shoulder armor is to to this:

Kinetic shields - the more the monk moves in combat the more the energy shields can absorb. Like Aikido - the better you are the more of the enemies force will be used back on the enemy.

So higher levels and skills will be more energy in the defence and attacks. More glow and effects.

The monk can build up energy regen speed by moving and can release this energy in attacks to get points to do strong finishing moves.

There could be a few different finishing moves, all of them on different cooldown. Like 1-3 minutes each, depending on build. So you will have to swap between different ones.

This could be finishing moves:

* Tiger (adds fire dmg)

* Panther (adds shadow dmg)

* Gorilla (adds stun)

* Snake (adds poison dmg)

* Scorpion (adds poison dmg)

* Eagle (adds slow)

When you are in the finishing move, you have good dmg absorbation, and are hard to slow and stun.

The animation of this is:

You build up points and move to a start position (can be a few yards away or in melee range depending on what move you will do) to be able to start the finishing move. Then you start the finising move, it takes 1-2 sec and does a lot of dmg, like 10 normal attacks and can have cap of max reduce 50% of max life. It can have some aoe dmg also.

And here is the cool thing. If you do the Tiger, you will have a tiger over your head, like the Dragon head spit fire in wow Dragons Breath. (if you dont know what this is, look at youtube for wow dragons breath). It is not a real tiger, it can be just the head and claws, and it can be 50% opacity and glowing, but it shows that your fists are dangerous like a tiger. It is epic moves without heavy plate shoulders.|||I think He should only gain Slight Armor additions, but as he get's better armor, it changes it to more "better".

No to shoulders (plates)|||Made 2 sketches of the idea

Gorilla punch

Tiger strike

http://diablo.incgamers.com/gallery/...strike&cat=500|||good thought put|||bigger tatoos|||longer beard|||shinier baldness (and normal baldness for the femme monk)|||end game armor should be light yet not cloth, thinking along the lins of shredder armor of TMNT with cloaks/capes aswell spiky shoulder armor would look cool, not perfect spike but rough jagged ones|||I think the only way is to give him HEAVY armor. It should at least look like really big, nice splint mail you might see on a samurai or something. I'm thinking of the Sorceress' heavy armor look in D2. It covered her completely, looked a bit like splint mail, but also looked like she could move around in it.|||Fancier robes. Hope they keep them in cloth.
