
i think the biggest news in that video is that they made the awful "make the monsters totally transparent, so they just look like red a shape surrounded by thick red lines" effect much less annoying.
In the new video you can even see the model of the monster you fight

They said that it looks like that in the video because the UI is hidden. The red outline is in the game.

As for the helmet, he is wearing one, and it shows on the character. It's just very subtle. Looks like a...well...tiara.

I agree that it looks nice indeed. Too bad it wont look as nice when the monk actually uses his skills, which is all the time. Man I will never stop wishing for a complete removal of the horiffic skills Exploding Palm and Seven Sided Strike. I might forbid any player to use those skills in my games. I'm quite serious.
